We will worship like the druids
Drinking strange fermented fluids
Dancing naked through the wo-ods
But that’s good enough for me.

Our Truly “Estate Bottled” wine is produced solely from our own estate grown French hybrid grapes known as Marechal Foch. Commonly called just plain “Foch” (foesh), this deep purple grape is anything but plain.
We keep it simple here at Sailor Vineyard, growing the vines less densely than modern practice and tending and harvesting our dry-farmed vines by hand and with minimal intervention. The vines were selected for their natural disease resistance and great cold hardiness…not to mention they make a deliciously rich, red, all round good wine which pairs well with impunity. We also grow an Italian variety: Dolcetto, meaning “little sweet one” from the Piedmont region of Italy.
This makes a fine, dry – not actually sweet at all – wine of considerable complexity. Very enjoyable!
In addition, we have a small stand of Pinot Noir 667 and are proud to include these 3 varieties in our popular “FIELD BLEND”.
Our wine is available for purchase directly from our winery and from the following wine stores:
